Knowmad Technologies Completes Arts Center Web Site
CHARLOTTE – Knowmad Technologies (www.knowmad.com) has completed and launched the newly designed www.ccacpineville.org Web site for the Civic and Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) of Pineville. The new community-focused site guides visitors through upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and membership in the arts center. Knowmad Technologies integrated e-commerce features into the WebGUI Content Engine so that visitors can donate, purchase membership or pay for events online. In addition, the site allows board members to collaborate online through a member-only portal which provides a shared calendar, web site management, document sharing, discussion forum and private wiki.
“As an emerging, nonprofit, volunteer based, community organization, we strive to provide a vibrant cultural arts experience for our local community,” says Gaye List, president of the CCAC Board of Directors. “Knowmad Technologies has helped us with this by creating a Web site that enables us to reach out and collaborate with our community more effectively.”
The nonprofit Civic and Cultural Arts Center of Pineville is a regional service and supplier for the performing and visual arts, craftsmen, musicians and creative writers. It is a cultural showplace and a hub of activity for community service organizations and educational outreach programs.
