Knowmad's Diona Kidd Makes List of Movers & Shakers
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Diona Kidd, vice president of Knowmad Technologies has been selected for the Business Leader Media's 2009 Movers & Shakers Award. Winners are either rising leaders within companies with more than 100 employees or C-level executives leading rising companies with fewer than 100 employees. Winners were honored at an awards ceremony on September 23.
As an integral part of the Knowmad leadership team, Kidd's mission is to find ways to leverage their clients' current Web technology to meet their future needs. This means finding ways to reuse and maximize technology to make the most of it. She believes that when it comes to Web technology, form and function must work together as one.
Kidd has successfully designed and implemented Web solutions to support the business processes for many companies. Her experience in process automation, large application development, project management and management of high traffic e-commerce properties has helped lead Knowmad Technologies to phenomenal growth and success.
Diona gives freely of her time and energy to civic and charitable organizations as well as to the Open Source community. She is on the Advisory Board for Rowan County Community College for the Web technologies department and the Board of Directors of the Civic and Cultural Arts Center of Pineville. Her participation in a variety of online communities lends Kidd a unique understanding of a wide variety of technology solutions.
