Caronet Partners with Knowmad to Develop Website Strategy
Growing Charlotte-area Data Center Hires Web Agency Knowmad to Provide Consulting, Expertise
Charlotte, NC, Mar. 14, 2011 — Full-service Web agency Knowmad (www.knowmad.com) has been engaged by Caronet, one of Charlotte’s largest data center providers, to develop an effective Web strategy for the company’s new website. Knowmad will provide consulting services and act as partner to Caronet, leading their internal team through the entire strategic process.
"We were looking for a cross-disciplinary resource,” says Paul Peeler, Technology Director of Caronet. “Our products and services are highly technical, so it was important for us to partner with professionals who intrinsically understand our business. At the same time, we know that developing a successful website requires expertise from a business and marketing perspective. Knowmad was the answer. They are able to guide us through this process from every angle. There’s a lot of value in that.”
“Launching a new website is a multifaceted endeavor.” says Diona Kidd, vice president of Knowmad. “It’s important to get a solid strategy in place before diving into the design and functionality of a website. You have to know what you want to accomplish, how you'll measure success, who your audience is, how they like to receive information, the best ways to engage them, and how to distinguish yourself from your competition. We’re pleased Caronet is committed to the entire process.”
Knowmad works with a wide range of businesses, including Mallard Creek Polymers, Suite 1000, Digital Innovations, Johnson C. Smith University and the University of Illinois Library.
