William McKee has over 15 years of professional
experience with Web technologies.
Currently, William's focus is on database-driven web application development using Open Source technologies. The integration of databases with universal connectivity leads to some interesting possibilities for organizations of all sizes. It also leads to questions and issues about security and privacy. Many businesses have begun the migration to the Internet without due consideration for the potential risks it raises. William works with his clients to limit the level of risk involved with moving information onto the world-wide web.
Diona Kidd, Vice President
Diona Kidd is Partner/Vice President of Knowmad
Technologies, a leading integrator of Open Source Web solutions. As an
integral part of the Knowmad leadership team, Diona’s mission is to
find ways to leverage Internet technology to meet their business needs.
Diona believes that when it comes to Internet technology, form and
function must work together as one.
Diona has successfully designed and implemented Open Source solutions
to support the business processes for many companies. Her experience in
process automation, large application development, project management
and management of high traffic e-commerce properties has helped lead
Knowmad Technologies to phenomenal growth and success.
Diona gives freely of her time and energy to civic and charitable
organizations as well as to the Open Source community. She is on the
Advisory Board for Rowan County Community College for the Web
technologies department and the Board of Directors of the Civic and
Cultural Arts Center of Pineville. Her participation in a variety of
online communities lends Diona a unique understanding of a wide variety
of technology solutions.
Tessa Harmon
Tessa Harmon is our very talented front-end developer. She also doubles as a back-end developer, proficent in both Perl and SQL. Tessa ensures that our front-end implementation matches both spec and W3C standards. Her attention to detail ensures our clients are presented in the best light possible despite the variety of viewports for a website. She is always looking for ways to improve both her technical
knowledge and her processes to create web software that is both maintainable and economical.
In her spare time, Tessa pursues her interests in design, music, and baking.
