William founded Knowmad to pursue his passion for helping organizations effectively leverage data and technology. His liberal arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Babson College provide the foundation for his distinctive approach: recognizing patterns across business disciplines and implementing technical solutions that drive results.

He thrives in unraveling complexity - analyzing disconnected marketing and sales data to find the patterns others miss. This starts with understanding the business impact behind the technical challenges, then building the data systems and strategic frameworks that create clarity and alignment between marketing investment and revenue results.

Outside of work, William maintains practices that sharpen his strategic thinking and broaden his perspective. His active yoga practice develops mental discipline and focus. Extensive global travel exposes him to diverse cultures and markets. His volunteer work with organizations including IYNAUS (where he serves on the executive council and as co-chair of the Marketing, Communications, and Media Committee), Camp Thunderbird, the Telluride Institute, and Lopez Community Land Trust reflects his commitment to applying strategic thinking to create community impact.
