Our client is a global chemical supplier specializing in the supply and development of high-performance polymers, intermediates, and specialty monomers used in coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, and resins. 


For over 50 years, this company has built its reputation on technical expertise, reliable supply, and collaborative partnerships that help manufacturers improve product performance and meet evolving market demands.

Product Catalog Challenges

 

Problem/Challenge

The client's website had grown dense with valuable content, but the structure wasn't working. Pages were disconnected, navigation felt confusing, and users struggled to find product information. Internally, the marketing team found it difficult to update or maintain accuracy across the site, leading to outdated content and missed opportunities to showcase the company's full product portfolio.

 As Caralyn H., Sales Support Specialist and the project's primary driver, described it: "the rabbit hole wasn't working"—users couldn't follow a clear path through the content. The client partnered with Knowmad to rebuild their website around a structured, HubSpot-powered product database designed for flexibility, scalability, and ease of use.

Using HubDB, Knowmad developed a centralized system that allows the client to manage and display every product in a consistent, searchable format. Each product entry can be added or updated in minutes—no developer support required. This system solved one of the client's biggest frustrations: keeping their extensive catalog current and complete.

In parallel, Knowmad overhauled the information architecture and navigation, connecting pages and content so users can easily explore by market, application, or chemistry. The result is a smoother experience for customers and a far simpler workflow for the internal team.

The new platform has become more than a website—it's a foundation for growth. The client can now feature its full product portfolio online, support expanded email marketing campaigns to nearly 12,000 contacts, and use the database as a launchpad for future digital initiatives.
